The Premiani story looks to at least have Kirby layouts, some panels obviously tighter than others (or was Simon adopting Kirby's own "square fingers" style in his inking over others?)/

I'm inclined to agree that Kirby had some role in that story, as I doubt that Simon as inker alone could Kirby-ize it so thoroughly. Were it not for JVJ's tentatively IDing someone other than Kirby on pencils, I'd see this as Kirby and Simon with a third (and fourth?) hand present as well. However, I'm not too familiar with how the Simon & Kirby studio split up their workflow.  (Later, Simon on his own - say, at Sick Magazine - could do some mediocre art that echoed Kirby, but in this story I doubt that he could do the energetic clothes wrinkles (characteristic of Kirby) on top of someone else's pencils. Same with the unsubtle parallel-line shading, which tended to be a S&K stylistic flourish.)
