Comic Name: Ghostly Weird Stories 123 (30.35 MB)
Description: June 1954, 36p c2c.
Some interesting stories in this issue including one with art by Jay Disbrow who was once part of the Iger shop. With a career that lasted (I think) into the 80s he did a number of jungle type stories in the 50s including some Sheena and misc Tarzan knockoffs.

Disbrow was still working into the new century, actually, being a pioneer in webcomics!

I thought so, I got sidetracked while I was reading more on him and forgot to keep digging before posting. I got interested because his faces looked similar to those found in other L. B. Cole produced books.

Jay Disbrow did a webcomic from 2000-2005 called "Aroc of Zenith" each installment comparable to a traditional colored sunday newspaper strip. there is a near complete archive of the 300 plus installments at http://www.marvelfamily.com/aroc/archive.asp
