Jeez, my edits are looking pale.
Blame it on the printing. But you can easily post-edit any scan here for personal use at home.

The book the scans were made from is in rough shape but the scans are fine.

Thank you Tilliban! I think your scan looks just fine. I prefer scans that represent what the actual book would look like in my hands rather than someone's attempt at a photoshop facelift. That said, the truly horrid printing on display here has me wondering if we should create a DCM award for the world's worst golden age print job! LOL

The fourth story, "The Envelope" features art that looks very similar to Harvey Kurtzman's early Weird Science stories "Jivaro Death." According to Comics.org, The artist was Charles Stern -- a former roommate of Harvey Kurtzman and a reason why this work resembles Kurtzman.
