That guy pumping gas in the two middle panels of page 24 ....he looks like Richard Nixon! Is this some sly humor from Wolverton?

this issue features THE MAN WHO NEVER SMILED by basil wolverton.    not to everybody's taste, but i found it delicious

I love this cover!  It's one of my favorites.

I heartily agree - one of the classic horror covers of all time.
