Title: The True Horror of Crime SuspenStories #22 Bleeding Cool link
Post by: Yoc on December 04, 2021, 11:38:07 AM
Bleeding Cool has an interesting post on the fall of EC and the personalities behind the scenes.
I thought it was an interesting read.  The Walter Winchell vs EC business manager Lyle Stuart was all new to me.

I found the article fascinating,   It adds another dimension to what was going-on politically in the early 1950's USA.  The whole scandal about crime and horror comic books was much more of a political tool than previously thought.    Thank you for posting the link.

Yep, thinking outside the comics box pays off for the author.
Happy to see you found it as interesting as I did.

An impressive article, even if I was already familiar with most (not all) of the content.  Crime Suspenstories is low on my personal hierarchy of the EC books, but it had some of the most striking covers in comic history.

Funny, those Crime books were my favourites.
