Title: How to: Make your own comic activity book
Post by: siglerk on June 17, 2019, 10:53:47 AM
Hi, all... I wrote some step-by-step instructions for anyone interested in creating their own comic book from the existing ones on this site.  You can read about it over on Instructables: https://www.instructables.com/id/Fill-in-the-Blank-Comic-Book-No-Drawing-Required/ (https://www.instructables.com/id/Fill-in-the-Blank-Comic-Book-No-Drawing-Required/)  (I entered this idea in the Fandom contest, so if you like it, you can also vote for it.)

For this project, I made a "fill in the blank" comic where you rewrite the dialogue and narration to go with the existing artwork.  So, the instructions touch on how to do that, along with color corrections, planning and arranging pages for proper booklet printing, and how to bind without a special stapler.  I think it makes a great educational project, especially for aspiring comic book creators.  Rather than a blank page, they have a real project to start from, so they can more easily get started telling stories in this medium.  I hope some of you find it helpful!
