Title: Major Inapak the Space Ace 001 (diff ver)
Post by: Support Bot on March 11, 2012, 12:39:04 AM
Comic Name: Major Inapak the Space Ace 001 (diff ver) (22.89 MB)
Description: Many of you have probably seen this comic before, but some may not have. It is a 1951 giveaway comic promoting a chocolate powder to be added to milk; a Nestle's Quick or Bosco-type product.

The comic is drawn by comic great Bob Powell, and it is VERY well done indeed. A real joy to behold, and a fun-if juvenile-read as well.

One thing it is not is rare. Apparently, a warehouse full of them was found, and a copy can be obtained relatively cheaply.

glammazon tells us: "Major Inapak was the spokesman for Inapak Chocolate Milk, a drink that was billed as the latest great discovery of mankind; it was supposed to have had 11 vitamins and 8 minerals."

I don't think there's any doubt this is the single most common comic book from the 50's.  But it does look nice!  Just don't pay over a few bucks for even a high grade copy if you find one in the wild.
