My first upload here. I sent it right to the main Charlton folder as there isn't a folder for the title itself.

Yeah I think I may have double clicked the confirmed button? I had that happen a few days ago on another book -Sam Hill #4 and noticed that 2 copies of that were showing as well. ???

I think when the file does not immediately appear onsite some will think they goofed and try again so the approve file section may have multiple copies

The Upload File link was broken for a few days is all Narf.

I haven't heard from Aussie about these yet Fett, I'll let you know when I do.
Any licensed character in a comic is much more potentially not PD and harder to confirm than an un-licensed one.  It makes a publisher like Dell an extra pain to be sure about.

Uploading Soldier And Marine Comics #9 Charlton Dec-1956 36p c2c. This series continued from Foxhole according to the statement of ownership, then switches over to Jerry Drummer with issue 10 (Apr-1957), so this is one of those series with a "hole" in it.  Last issue of Foxhole according to all sources I've been able to find is #7 (Mar-1956), but you never know. :) The missing #8 might just be extremely rare. So if anyone has a Foxhole #8 or a Soldier and Marine #8 , indicia should be between Mar-1956 and Dec-1956, please sound off and let us know. :) And of course let me know how much you want for it. ;)

They renewed the copyright for issue 4, no idea why they never renewed the first 3. I knew there were a lot of renewals for the Ripley's believe it or not material, wanted to be as sure as I could with online records that the first 3 were OK. There could still be renewals for the first 3, but they are not available in the on line records, and that is all I have access to.

I've never read Sweetheart Diary comics before, but the artwork in these seems much higher quality than I'm used to seeing from Charlton. I think there's some Marc Swayze art in there (see Sweetheart Diary 37 page 25); he's my favorite of the Fawcett romance artists. And great covers, too. Thanks for these!!

I think you meant to say Fightin' Navy 75-82, 84-85 and 87-89. And you forgot to mention Zoo Funnies v1 010.

Also, as a result of these uploads, the titles Fightin' Navy, Secrets of Young Brides and Zoo Funnies v1 are all now complete on DCM (up to the December 1959 cutoff).
