The Internet Archive people have been scanning like mad, old books and news. I'm constantly searching for newspaper strip collections, and have found items I don't see on any sites like DCM or TLB. (It's not always easy searching as you have to know the name of something before you can find it.) Not sure what DCM might be interested in.

This scan is something I just found tonight:

Skeezix Out West (1928.Reilly & Lee)

Is this something DCM would like?

Not sure at all what is allowed or not. There has been lots of work recently on older strips. EG Captain Easy has dailies sets from 1924-1988.

Slippery distinction, that. Buck Rogers, the character, remains protected, while his 'strips' are now PD. So how does one access the PD strips - under what file names? Thanks.

Buck Rogers is protected by trademark, but the character (and the 1929 strips) should be in the public domain.
Unless i'm reading your post wrong and/or missing something?
