Title: ADVICE ON A SCANNER ...
Post by: jabarryto on April 10, 2019, 01:58:11 PM
Back about 25 years ago I bout a bunch of comics on microfiche from Microcolor International.
Some of the titles are now public domain, some are not ....

I'd like to scan the fiche and convert them to cbz/cbr format  ...*** for my own use *** ... It'd be nice to read the stories on the couch from my tablet instead of  my now 25 year microfiche reader with my 51 year old eyes....

I know it's feasible - i tried scanning with my old canon mp480 scanner but the resolution just isn't quite there.

Any suggestions welcome.

Thank you
JBT.

Hi JBT,
You should read this topic where another member tried his hand at fiche scanning.

Something is wrong with the post you have linked. The images which were originally part of the post are all broken.

Thanks, I noticed that too and have asked srca to try and fix the images.
