Post by: thd610 on June 18, 2019, 10:25:01 AM
Hi all,
Many of you here will know the JVJ identifier and how Jim has been sharing books from his collection for scanning by DCM members all part of the JVJ Project.

Here's Jim himself talking about his early collecting days when he started out on his complete (!) Atlas collection - all of which are being sold on Heritage Auctions.

Jim is on Facebook where he's sharing not just pictures of his Atlas books but also all the Posters he's collected over his lifetime which are also in this auction.  Here's his Facebook address - https://www.facebook.com/JVJPublishing

Thanks for sharing thd.
JVJ's personal Facebook page can be found here:

Jim sold the bulk of his Atlas via Heritage back in 2014 but those not meeting their minimum condition standards along with his Timely books were sold by his long time friend Dick Swan via his BigGuysComics eBay store here (https://www.ebay.com/str/bigguyscomics) which finished selling the last of Jim's books in November 2018.

The rest of Jim's comic collection were bought by James Payette here:
