I just stumbled upon this For sale in November, 1939.
I did a little searching and found out it had black and white insides, color cover. Not much more info.
There appears to be just one issue published #2.

Does anyone know anything about this issue?

I know I read a blog or perhaps in an old fanzine post about this books.
Try doing a Bing or Google and you might find it.  Sorry, that's the best I can do.

I was only familiar with the ashcan of #1. Maybe they printed a second issue as further evidence to secure the copyright? You'd think the USPTO would've gotten wise to what they were doing.

It's shown at GCD also, I just don't know why this is considered a different series.

This has been listed in the Overstreet Price Guide for years.  Apparently the cover is the cover for Adventure Comics #37.
