Tom Scheuer drew the "Chip Martin, College Reporter" strip ads for Bell Telephone thru J&C.
Neal Adams took over when Scheuer quit.

Adams acknowledged Scheuer as an influence and a mentort. You can sure see the connection in those Chip Martin strips. amazing to think Adams wasn't yet 21 when he began working for Johnstone & Cushing!
