Hi gang,
I just stumbled across this link and it blew my mind.
I'm not exactly sure how these are done (3D software, actual sculptures?) but they are amazing!

I don't know if they used 3D printing to do those or not, but it's a possibility. Those 3d printer do some amazing things like replacing a missing foot on an elephant, saw that on the Animal Planet. Truly amazing stuff.

Maybe but I'm leaning towards these were done on 3D software only and output for the pictures.  But it wouldn't take much to output them on a printer as you suggest.
