Hi Gang,
I hope people are enjoying these galleries.  Next up is pictures with a military theme.  During the war comics were selling in the millions!  PX stores and hospitals would have them for the soldiers during their down time.  For a time more comics were possibly read from here than anywhere else.  Here's where I've found in my travels covering all wars.

Behind the woman and the servicemen, there are two stacks of pulps. The stack on the left is topped with the October 1943 number of Western Short Stories; the stack just behind the woman's right shoulder is topped with the Sept. 18, 1943, number of Street &  Smith's Western Story Magazine.
