Here's a nice selection of girls reading comics from all eras. 
Disproving the myth that comics are for males only.

This is from an amazing blog on the history of the Evans family living in the Mississippi delta.  It is a Wonderful read with a ton of interesting pictures and recollections of four generations of the family.  We HIGHLY recommend it!
