open source comics-can they be used freely?
« on: October 17, 2017, 04:22:40 AM »
I was at the https://archive.org/details/BeanoComicLibrary
and it has the Beano comics listed as open source, does this mean they can be used freely?

If not, how can I find those comics? My intent is to use some of the Beano puzzles and graphics to create children's reading books.
Thanks for any help with this.
Have a great day.

Hi Paul,
Beano is a UK title we don't share here.  I strongly suspect they are not in the pubic domain.
You might ask the good people over on Comic Book Plus who know a lot more about UK books than we do.
