Opening Day is Sunday. I think the confusion is some teams are actually playing games in their usual major league parks e.g., Cleveland at Texas.
But thanks for the baseball comics in any case.

Growing up in St. Louis many of the players featured in this flood were familiar to me. Eddie (the Brat) Stanky, is the first manager of the Cardinals I remember, for instance.
Fawcett seemed to have made a point of covering the early African-American ML players and the previous color-barrier. That was pretty brave at the time and a change from a few years earlier when editors told Mac Raboy that Freddy Freeman's birthday party could not include a "Colored" child.
If you visit Kansas City, my hometown, you can visit the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum.
