Hey, fellow Newbie! Although I am a firm Marvelite (total Avengers/ X Men/ Fantastic Four nerd), I have always liked the colourful appeal of the Golden Age and psychology-wise I am definitely interested. Your namesake, Wonder Woman, was deliberately created by a psychologist as I'm sure you know and I think it was an extraordinary idea.  Odd, isn't it, that in the modern era we are arguably more widely conscious of oppression and discrimination - yet you can compare and contrast strong golden age heroines such as Black Cat; Wonder Woman; Ms Fury; Black Canary with the appalling treatment meted out to the modern Ms Marvel and the whole women in refrigerators thing?

Anyway, hope you pitch in with your views!

...and just on that last topic of oppression (yep, that was a topic, keep up!), I was just Facebook chatting with an old friend about the attached Superman poster image. I always preferred Siegel and Shuster's original Superman (pre flight) who took on slum landlords and corruption. Sure, super villains are fun - but Superman was a great moral example back then.  In my view much more so than when they just tried to play on it in the 1970s and 80s without him necessarily dealing with real issues.
