'SteveD's Latest Uploads' or something like that topic
« on: November 16, 2015, 09:20:19 PM »
I have formatted Mr. Petrie's wonderful JUMBO intro essay in case any obsessives out there might like to strip the txt file header of some of the CBZ files and have it set apart to sit on its own, by itself, in a corner somewhere. Uploading shortly, if anyone cares.

Part of the humour, of course, is that this is a 3-page file that clocks in at 25mb, in keeping with the massive size of the JUMBO scans.

Thanks Steve.
I checked the file and you had a very big PSD file in there for page 1 that wasn't needed.
I removed it and the file is a much more manageable size and will work in the Preview feature.

New Postings From SteveD

In honor of Thanksgiving, for those on this side of the pond, (for everybody else it's just a B-level Fawcett-Book holiday!) I will be posting the following Fawcett books, c2c & all paper, in the next few:

COMIC COMICS 2, 4, 5, 8, 9 & 10.

I'll also be posting Comic Comics #3, but only the cover and Mystic Moot story, because digital files can sometimes be bigger A-holes than people can.

This will be followed shortly by a new DCM Archive edition, THE COMPLETE MYSTIC MOOT AND HIS MAGIC SNOOT, featuring a new introduction including new materials and an interview with Monte Wolverton.

Hopefully before too late this week........

The big one goes first, THE COMPLETE MYSTIC MOOT AND HIS MAGIC SNOOT. And the little ones will follow.

Here goes nothin'!

On the other hand, if it's too damn big I'll have to do some resizing...

Hi Steve,
No need, it's just on the edge of being too big.  Going up shortly along with the others.

I'm downloading it right now.  Just in terms of getting us all the Mystic Moot stories, as paper scans... That's a major get for the site right there.  Thank you so much!

Now if we could just find the last few targets we need for the complete Spacehawk me and Yoc have been hoping to put together for a while...

Downloaded for later. Thanks to all involved.

O-Eric, would love to have that Spacehawk collection. Not to mention the complete set of Target.

Have had a chance to read the collection now.  The introduction is probably better than whatever even a professionally printed collection would have come up with.

erwin- we keep looking for those few Targets we still need; but they're decidedly tricky.  2 of the 3 issues I've been able to get from v1 are coverless.  But they search goes on.
