The Captain Steve Savage issues, reprinted from before the Comics Code, have changes that are different than many/most such reprints.

There are a fair number of dialog changes with blank areas in the speech balloons. Items removed from the art are not nearly as obvious. Panels, in several places, featuring death and mass destruction are left without any color. All in all, pretty effective.
