All Paper C2C Silver Streak 20 & 21 on the way up
SteveD:
Couldn't bear to see those unfortunate Fiche scans for Silver Streak 20 any longer, so I've bitten the bullet and scanned both 20 & 21 from my own collection, both high grade books, all paper, though in the interests of keeping these files from being colossal I do cop to editorializing by virtue of those features which are at slightly lower rez than others.
The intro of Wolverton's Scoop Scuttle, prime early Everett art on the Red Reed intro, Dick Briefer Pirate Prince, Bob Montana art, other more mediocre entries, all fascinating.
Enjoy.
Yoc:
Many thanks Steve! Fantastic to see this as a paper scan!
Your #20 was easily small enough. In fact, if you wanted to do 21 larger all we suggest is keeping the book under 100mb or break the book into pt1 and pt2 if it's larger.
I'm guess some of the book was from digital camera shots and mentioned it in the admin section of it. Let me know if I'm wrong on that.
Thanks again, love it!
:D
SteveD:
Yes indeed, several pages on #20 are digicam (albeit with a platen lightly atop the book) and I've straightened out the curved pages as best my Photoshop chops would let me, but I am stuck with a 2-page Ned Of The Navy spread from an earlier abortive attempt when a crash wreaked havoc (and file loss) on this issue. Would that all life's problems were merely this bad, eh?
#21 is all flatbed scanner, and both with bright white pages and no major crud.
SteveD:
uhhhh, speaking of which... has #21 shown up on your side there yet? (shoulda...)
And my oversight, by the way, #21 is the issue with the 2 NED pages from Crap-Cam, the 2nd & 3rd of that story, dutifully corrected and sharpened as best I could, I add shamefacedly.
Yoc:
It's now up!
Thanks again Steve.
Oh, I'd suggest when naming your cbr files to include you own credit at the end, you deserve it.
