More Treasure Chest Comics

Hello Everyone

Just uploaded Treasure Chest Volume 8 Issues #1-20 (includes new issues #4, # 12 & #14) & Volume 9 Issues #3 & #20. Also the following upgrades Volume 12 Issue #11, Volume 9 Issues #5 & #13.

NOTE: For Volume 8 the new Issue #4 is to replace the one already on DCM as it is actually a copy of Issue #14. The upgrades for issues #12 & #14 replaced pages 18 & 19 plus the covers.

If I have time this weekend I will upload Volumes 6 & 7.

Volumes 6 & 7 have now been uploaded. Upgrades of Volumes 1, 2 & 3 will be uploaded within the few days. Volume 4 and most of Volume 5 should be up in the next week or so.

Hello Again

Upgrades of Volumes 1, 2 & 3 as well as upgrades of Volume 4 Issues 1-3 PLUS the balance of Volume 4 no already on DCM have been uploaded.

I still have some scanning and clean up to do to Volume 5 so they will be on the site by next weekend, minus issue 19 as I do not have a copy to scan

Hi CW and E1....I have all 20 of vol5 of Treasure Chest in pdf form. I don't know how to upload them to DCM  though. I convert all my books via Calibre to pdf as I like to scroll to read them instead of page by page.

I have vol1 1-6 (missing 7-20)  vol2 1-20, vol3 1-20,

vol4 I have 13-(missing-04,06,09,12,15,17,18)

vol5 - vol15 1-20

vol16-18 1-20 (I know that after vol15 they are not DCM material.)

Edit 2:57 pm EST- I just realized that vol 1 only has 6 issues  Tks CW for filling in my missing for v4+7..Net.

Google an app called PDF Ripper N.  It can extract the jpg files for you.

Hey Yoc..I just realized that we cant upload that book as it is over the P/;D dead line.  I just checked on Comic Book + and they have the books for download up to vol 18 uploaded from Movielover It might be easier if those that want to continue the set downloaded from there (Must have been where I went to originally...LOL). More Treasure Chest Uploaded

I just uploaded Volume 5 Issues 2-6, 8-18, 20. I still need to scan Issue 1 & 7 and will likely do tomorrow. Do not have a copy of 19..

Almost the complete series on DCM, happy reading. I have scans of all the comics after December 1959 so when DCM changes their allowed date I will upload.

FYI - The copies of Treasure Chest on Comic Book + are sourced from the American Catholic University Archives, the same site I downloaded most of the ones I have added to DCM. While many of the Archives scans are very good a lot had pages that were not fully readable. In those cases I have scanned pages from my collection and replaced before converting to CBZ.

Issue 19 of Volume 5 is a good example of scans that are not fully readable. I have the scans for this issue from the Archives however due to the poor quality I have not cleaned up or put into CBZ format. I am hoping to find a better copy or have someone that has an original copy who will scan.

Yes, v15 #9 (#275) is the last issue allowed on DCM.

Ok Yoc and CW...Tks for the info update..I haven't gotten around to reading very far in the set (up to v3-#11) so I didn't know of those problems you are fixing. Its great that you have taken the time to do this massive undertaking. (I wouldn't know where or how to start     ..lol) Cheers Net.
