Red Ryder ok?

Are all Red Ryder comics ok? DCM has Crackajacks with RR stories plus an archive

Red Ryder Comics, magazine and colouring book are not PD.
I see nothing about Crackajacks.

It still confuses me that whole comics like RedRyder can be non-PD, but other comics like Crackajack with RedRyder stories are PD. Meanwhile, a feature like Tarzan is non-PD even if it's only a text story in a Crackajack.

Do you know if it's other stories in RedRyder Comics that make the comics non-PD? If that's the case, then it'd be OK to upload just the RedRyder stories.

Well, when I researched this a while back, I found that almost all Red Ryder comics were renewed. Actually starting at 20, but it was decided not to host the early ones because of newspaper strip concerns
