What is constantly driven home to me by these listings is the incredible depth my collection seems to have in areas that I'm not especially enamored with. Fox romance, crime, western and jungle from the late forties are the last gasps of a manipulative 3rd string weasel of a publisher and it's where artist went who couldn't get work anywhere else - because they weren't sure that Fox was going to pay them for what they did for him.
Yet I seem to have accumulated a bunch of these books, and downloaders can be forgiven for wondering WHY in the majority of cases. In reviewing these, I join you in that question! Fox artists don't reward that second look usually, so why DID I keep buying these comics?
