Image Hosting

(1/1)

Roygbiv666:
Hi

I'm commissioning artists to do drawings, and I create image references for the obscure, PD characters. It's kind of stupid to email them. I've tried putting them on MediaFire, but people are often prompted for a login, and Servimg.Com but thats doesn't seem to let me create folders, so every image requires a separate link.

I want to dump a bunch of images someplace and give people ONE link to a sub-directory. Suggestions?

I think I heard http://www.flickr.com/ does that kind of thing but I've never used it myself
I'm on Imageshack and they will let you create albums but they will occasional be offline too.

I have used photobucket for a couple years now for hosting my ebay images.

1. It's free
2. Did I say it's free?
3. Yep, it is free!

In place of an actual website--I just can't seem to manage to get it off the ground--I, too, use photobucket for my lettering samples for potential publishing clients.

I think the site is supposed to be for sharing vacation photos and the like, but an image is an image so I direct clients to my comics page samples rather than pix of my kids.

Uploaded them years ago--and they're still there.

I use imgur.com when I need an image hosting site. It's free, allows you to create "albums", has a web interface for uploading, but also has programs for PC/mac/*nix to upload without needing a browser.
