Looking forward to seeing that THE FLAME #3, Mr. Golden Age!

DCM has a copy of Ajax's THE FLAME #2 already, but it is not complete, so I am sure people would like to see your copy. Thanks for scanning.

Sure Richard.  Please do upload your #2.

Note - your #3 scan is huge at over 125mb.  I've asked Geo to create and upload a second smaller version as well.
I'm surprised your upload made it as it's over the set limit within the RWD software!
In the future, if you have a huge scan like this please upload it in two parts if you wouldn't mind.

Thanks!

I will scan that book this weekend. I also have all three Black Cobra's and two of the three Samson's and two Wonderboy's if you are in need there. That is about the extent of my Ajax-Farrell books that I still have.

Hi Richard,
New scans for any and all are welcome.  There's no rules against multiple scans existing for the same book if one already exists on the site.

Hi Richard,
Not a huge deal with bandwidth these days.  Like I mentioned, you can always break it into multiple parts if needed.
Certainly don't shrink them to uber small scans please.  I shoot for just under 1mb per jpg file sizes.  So a 68pg book at about 70-75mb isn't a bad goal IMO.

Thanks again for the scans!

The Flame #3 scans aren't too huge so they should compress nicely to under 100 MB without resizing the images. However, as noted in the downloads page, there is a page missing which I assume was inadvertently left out.

It will be added in a little while.  Stay tuned Cooper.  If Richard wants to use these much larger than normal scans all we ask is he break the book into two parts and please include a small version of the front cover as the first scan as well as the normal huge one after as our automatic cover thumbnail feature can 'chock' on scans over 1 or 2mb in size.

I guess I should have been more specific about the term 'compression'. Running them through IrfanView with a Save quality of 60 won't noticeably affect quality but will reduce file size.

Oh, I thought you meant the missing page would be added. The large filesize doesn't bother me. However, it's still missing the 3rd page of "Traffic and Tide!"

Coop I've up'd a new version (smaller copy) but it's still missing the one page. Have to wait on Richard to up the missing page then add it in.

Geo has now got the missing page waiting in an email for him.
A new c2c 'fixed' smaller version should be up in the near future from him.

Thanks to Richard and Geo got getting this to us!

It's all done folks, a new c2c issue has been up'd, with notes on what has been done.

Enjoy.
