Hello Sherwood. I might be even closer to you, in Central Scotland.  "From a wee small boy to a wee grown man" , that resonates with me.  I don't suppose you and your pals walked the streets shouting, "KIMOTA", in the vain hope of becoming Marvelman?  I did.  Never worked.  Nor did Gene Autry appear when we kidded on we were thunder riders when leaving the Odeon Club on Sat. mornings.
