Yoc:
It turns out these scans were not from the original golden age comics and therefore Not in the public domain.
As much as we'd love to have them on the site they put us at risk.

My apologies to those that wanted them.

 I hate to see them go, Yoc, but I understand why they had to be removed. I'm sure that eventually scans of the genuine articles will turn up but hard to say when.
