I know that there are considerably more than the 10,547 comics that I have been able to ID here.

Does anyone have a more definitive count? :-/

Yoc should have those figures, he's not available at the moment, but will be sometime shortly.

Total Comics as of today 1:33:13 PM: 10941.
This is individual scans and includes all uploads including duplicate scans and some 'pointers' that lead to a book in another section common in the DCM Collections section.
