Pages out of order
narfstar:
Jon and Yoc make good points. Without seeing them it is hard to tell. It seemed as if you were doing everything right. There can be some internal unseen tags by the program maybe? I have tried many efforts to get mp3 files renamed to play in order on my phone with no success.

If you wanted to upload a small sample of the bad file I could take a look.
Say 5-10 pages?

Doing so now with SPACE RANGERS ARCHIVES VOL 0 Part 2. The pages were numbered using Windows 7 as reef (1).jpg thru reef (107).jpg when I winrar'd them, then changed file extension from .rar to .cbr and they are jumbled.
I've also uploaded SPACE RANGERS VOL 0 Part 1a and 1b ;those are OK but I should have named them SPACE RANGERS ARCHIVES VOL 0 Parts 1a and 1b. Can you correct that?
Please verify that you received both files 1a and 1b. I don't recall if I hit Confirm.
Also, I don't know how to add a thumbnail; is that done automatically by my selecting 1 for Number of Thumbnails; is that right?
Hopefully things will go more smoothly after thisand I won't have to barrage you guys with questions.

Ok Moon.
We've got the uploads here.
Vol 0 1a is out of order.
Checking your second test file I see this
New folder (1).jpg
New folder (10).jpg
New folder (100).jpg
New folder (100a).jpg
New folder (101).jpg
New folder (102).jpg
New folder (103).jpg
New folder (104).jpg
New folder (105).jpg
New folder (106).jpg
New folder (11).jpg
New folder (12).jpg
New folder (14).jpg
New folder (15).jpg
New folder (16).jpg
New folder (17).jpg
New folder (18).jpg
New folder (19).jpg
New folder (1a).jpg
New folder (2).jpg
etc.
For huge runs in collections like this I suggest simplifying.
Three digits numbers the whole run. From 001 to 999, don't leave out leading zeroes ever and I'd forget about the brackets altogether.
000-SRAV01a-XXXX, etc
XXX can be anything it's only the starting six matter.
But don't vary the starting ever within a file. In a different file you can of course change it to say
000-SVAV02a or whatever to differentiate it.
Varrying anything withing a file opens the possibility of the order changing even if it looks fine on CDisplay.
I don't think you want collections out there that are incorrect page orders so I wont activate the uploads you've done.
If you'd like to retry another test upload feel free. And when you are confident a re-upload of the full volume is very welcome.
Sorry it's being so difficult on you. :-[

BTW I found a Fantastic application called Total Commander for things like this.
It's amazing for renaming and renumbering as well as moving files around and even has built in FTP for those that use it. It even does all my file compaction for me with Zip and Rar files. (after I set it up of course.)
It's not free but I love it. I'm betting there are free apps out there for mass renumbering like this though. It sure saves me a lot of time.

Is Vol 0 1b good, or out of ordered also?
