I don't know if this is worth bothering about, but in the New Uploads list instead of a thumbnail, the monster full-cover scan appears

Yep, sometimes that happens Len.  CaptDJ hasn't figured it out yet.

But the main reason these are being fixed is so the PREVIEW feature will work with them.
Others had buggered file names without a file type at the end or garbage in the name after the big crash of 2008.
Prime is going the extra mile helping us with these.
