War Heroes #4 art question - JVJ

Lieut. Gen. Mark W. Clark Modern Messenger to Garcia - You don't have any story names next to the creators, but going in order of the stories and creators, this would appear to be E. C. Stoner. I think it looks like him, especially based on the portrait of Clark on the first page. Do you confirm?

It's really shocking how many artists signed their work in these issues, and yet they haven't been indexed until now.

Also, is this the first appearance of Walt Disney's The Gremlins. It was in the April-June 1943 copy. The first appearance in Walt Disney's Comics and Stories was #33 in June 1943. Both strips (at least from the name since I can't read the original) had Gremlin Gus and Widget. In most of the articles I read, there is almost no reference to War Heroes #4, just the Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #33-41. I wonder if it is just because that issue isn't indexed. It's a fascinating story.

Hey Jedi,
You can join GCD as an indexer if you were interested in filling some of these missing indexes.
DCM has at least two or three indexers on it.
