War Heroes #3 cover signature?

And once I've got a name, I'm like a bulldog, finding other places with his signature, like...

Animal Comics #1 has poems on the inside front and back covers that are signed W.B.C., that I can now connect to Worth Carnahan (since looking at the Jerry Bail's site says he worked on Animal Comics). The poems are Ambition and A Matter of Intelligence. The signature on both indicate he's the writer, but do you know if he's the artist. I don't know if you have any index cards for these.
