Just added to the Charlton section: Cowboy Western #30.  c2c, 36 pages.

A scanner's delight from eBay--a comic in very nice shape with a collector-repellent fully detached cover.  Evidently the Sunset Carson photo cover makes this a desirable item in some quarters.

Just added to the Charlton section: Cowboy Western #35.  c2c, 36 pages.

This means that the site is lacking only Cowboy Western #34 for a complete run (#17-39) of the 1948 series.  The numbering was continued in the notorious (or at least inexplicable) series Space Western.

Cowboy Western #35 has been updated with a page I accidentally skipped in the editing phase when I saved a copy to a different folder for a project on "Great Moments in Comic-Book Coloring."  Alas, in 1951 the ambitious project of rendering the delicate shades and textures of human chest hair does not yet seem to be within the technical grasp of the craftsmen in Charlton's production department.

Just added the last of my JVJ's, Sparkling Stars #1.  Copy is missing two centerfolds, so 60 of 68 pages plus JVJ's info.

JVJ has some of this series I had to send back because of time constraints, if any brave soul wants to pick up the Sparkling Stars torch.

Thanks very much B!
I wonder are you going to be asking for another box or are your time woes to much to do so?

I certainly will be asking for more (I really hope some of those crazy Cat-Man issues are still available  :)), but I want to make sure that I have the time rather than hoping that I will.

Good to hear B and I too hope you'll get to do the Cat-Man books and any other Holyoke titles you find interesting.

Just added to the Avon section:
All-True Detective Stories #3.  Cover to cover, 36 pages.
Front and back cover are water damaged--don't use your comics as coasters, kids! Now the classic ad for free baby turtles is ruined.  :(  "Clean Little Pets, Delivered Healthy and Safe in a Special Moss-Protected Pack." If you're not satisfied with the $1.69 rock garden, you can get your money back and still keep the turtle. If the turtle arrives in a less than satisfactory state, though, you appear to be on your own.
