churnworks:
I had just started corresponding with Al Plastino, and found myself wishing I had done so sooner. When I read the news, I was floored and deeply saddened. We talked about his artwork, which he had donated to a national museum, where it had never been logged in, and he found this out when he encountered a description of his art as one of the auction items in the JFK memorabilia sale. I am hopeful that his family and his lawyer will be able to bring some justice to this issue, which would be a nice denoument to someone who gave me and so many others so much pleasure over the years.
