 Robinson was one of the great artists of the golden age, and I'm sorry to see him go.

It's deeply sad to hear Joe Simon, one of the fathers of Timely/Marvel has passed on.  Another of the originals gone.

Aside from Captain America and Bucky, I keep thinking to all of the great characters that the Simon/Kirby team either created or helped guide through different periods of the Golden Age -- Newsboy Legion and the Guardian, Sandman and Sandy, Stuntman, Manhunter, Fighting American and Speedboy, the 1950's Shield, the Fly... :(

I'm so sorry that they are now both gone. But at least they've left behind a wealth of outstanding material for future generations to enjoy. Comics would never have been the same without them.
