Just tried to upload the 2nd issue of Jewish War Heroes published by Canadian Jewish Congress (circa Feb. 1944 ; it has no date, but was obviously published at the same time - or after - the 1st issue).

The file name is JewishWarHeroes220110213100420.zip. It should be in my folder (librarian).

I hope it got there OK and is usable.

I took a look and found pg7 was upside down.  I've corrected it and will add the scan to the site.

Just tried to upload As Du Sport (aka Le Tresor de la jeunesse #8, published by FIDES (Montreal, Quebec, Canada / Paris, France) in 1951.

I hope it uploaded OK and is usable.

Sorry about page 7 being upside down. Half of them were like that and I thought I'd fixed them all.

Librarian I'm going to let Yoc put your last upload up on the site, I'm not sure where it would go anyway.

Also please only start one thread for uploads, I've merged the other one into this one, so nothing was lost.

It looks as if your last upload, As Du Sport, didn't make it, could you try again with it, thanks.
Also make sure you hit 'Confirm' when done uploading the file, that can mess this up with it not showing.

Thanks for correcting page 7. Other pages were also upside down, which I inverted. I thought I'd caught them all, but obviously I hadn't.

Just tried to upload As Du Sport again, using Smith Micro StuffIt.

The file name is AsDuSport_320110306213519.zip and it should be in my folder (librarian).

Please let me know if I need to resend.

Librarian I've uploaded AsDuSport_008, had to rotate page 32 as it was upside down, also resized it down from 73 megs to 18 megs, as it looked as if these were raw scans, would hope you don't mind that I did that. Also added a note about it being in French, not english.

 I love being able to see this obscure material. I think if is important that this sort of material be preserved and that as many people as might be interested get a chance to take a look at it. I was particularly impressed by "Jewish War Heroes" #2, which is more like a great example of pampleteering than it is of comic book material although it has a foot in both camps.
