Speed 17's Black Cat page 5 is missing; the 'page5' scan is a duplicate of page3

I'll get to it tomorrow Len and remove the page, from the looks of it it's an incomplete book at that.

Geo

It is now re-up'd with page 5 removed, also renamed the cover scan so it comes up first.

Speed17 contains a shrunken version of the Black Cat origin from Pocket Comics #1 gang.
The Pocket Comics (Aug 1941) one is 12 pages long and a fiche scan of it is found here:

By early 42 Harvey must have smelled a winner and in Speed17 (Apr 1942) reused the origin story but reduced it to just 8 pages.  Not 9 as the file on DCM would have you believe with the duplicate of page 3 found as page 5.  If you remove the duplicate page 5 the story reads fine and if you check the Pocket version you can confirm that nothing is missing.

Thanks for pointing out the problem Len.  It's fun to see how they reused the artwork and tweaked it to fit less pages.
A c2c scan of Speed17 will hopefully show up someday.  It would be a great addition to the site!
