The Traveler (would) exist in the Standard Comics Universe. Evidently while some writer was trying to come up with the villain-of-the-month he was watching too much PBS and decided to do this villainous take on Doctor Who.

Interestingly, Roy, he might have already made an appearance.  A few years back, Stephen Frug release a script under a Creative Commons license with a possibly-similar character.

Y'know, if you squint a bit and take a few steps back...

Not a complete story, but it hits the highlights:

Wow, some really great stuff being made here.  Love seeing this stuff come to life again.

My favorite artist (from mid eighties to present, still getting the odd cover) happens to also be the most reasonable for commissions. I won't say his name because he is backed up and I have a lot for him to do still.  :o)

BUT, I would like to say that after buying a number of published original pages I decided I should really have a short comic commissioned of my own.  The first one is only 6 pages (done in two three-page parts).

If you look into how to write a comic script, practice, refine story so it flows and is clear and everything I would HIGHLY suggest giving it a shot.  Rather than a lot of really cool original pages you could have your own story.

Partly the idea behind it - since these characters are essentially  "empty suits" it's hard for an artist to just draw them.

If an artist didn't know Superman or Wolverine, he might have them posed or acting out of character. Same with my made up ones and the old PD characters.

These entries are, hopefully, a little more interesting than just some model sheet/turnaround.

Also, when I get enough, I hope to do a PrintOnDemand issue and sell well in excess of 1 copy. ;-)

Mission accomplished! Thanks. Meaning, I succeeded in making someone want to see a comic, not that one exists ;-)

I am doing a Who's Who comic for fun. I've thought about doing an actual "story" comic, but the costs are so big - we'll see!

I would love to read an actual Sentinels comic

Hey Roy,
I had a crazy idea here for a commission - feel free to ignore me.

Famous album covers with PD characters - ie - The Standard heroes done as the Sgt. Peppers cover or the Sentinels as Abby Rd.
:D
