I second all of these.  I've been looking for an affordable Barker #13 in particular for years. And I don't think I've ever seen an unaffordable one.  Plas #52 and Police #103 would also top my list.

I don't have a top "10" list at this moment, but the one I thought we would never see was Buster Crabbe #5 by Eastern. Eric found a copy which he left me scan and then a few months ago I found my own copy and could replace the last page of his book that had been cut out on the bottom half of the page. I'm sure I could come up with a few more after thinking on it a bit.

I don't have a top 10 as such, but (beyond my well known Peter Wheat obsession) Target v1 n6-8 are very high on my want list.  6 is gettable but 7 is crazy expensive and 8 is crazy scarce.  (8 was the last book they were looking for for the Bill Everett archives collections, last I heard.)

Hmm...Since the two stories up here from Thrilling Comics #32 are probably my scans, I wouldn't be surprised if that book didn't turn up sometime in the not too distant future. I was considering it for my anniversary countdown, but opted for scanning Startling #28 instead. (Fewer pages at a time when I was doing a lot of scanning.)

I can also upgrade Prize #20 with 300dpi scans and ifc and ibc scans, but alas, my copy is also centerfold-less.

-Eric

Hi Eric,

I'd love to see both of them (American Crusader is one of my favorite superheroes from better/Nedor). Which story is affected by the missing centerfold of Prize #20? I'm hoping that it's not Yank and Doodle or Black Owl, but I've got a bad feeling....

Both Yank and Doodle and Frankenstein unfortunately. Black Owl is complete. I've wanted that complete Y&D story for years now. It's by Paul Norris!

Aw, man...  :'(

Yank and Doodle is one of my favorite ongoing strips from Prize, so that's a bummer. But a complete copy of Prize 20 has got to show up at some point.

Hi gang,
Two that would have been on my list were crossed off since DCM start.  The recently shared 'Rhymes With Lust' and Colossus Comics from a while back.
I've never taken a shot at a Top 10 list but here are a few that I'd really, really love to see scanned from paper and on the site some day!

  • Circus: The Comic Riot #1-3
  • Target Comics #7+8
  • Wow, What a Magazine #1-4
  • Reform School Girl
  • Blood Is the Harvest
  • Amazing Adventure Funnies #1, 2
  • Green Giant #1 from paper
  • Prize Comic #7, 8
  • Frankenstein #16
  • Slam Bang Comics #1-7
  • Amazing Mystery Funnies - v1n1
  • Mystery Men Comics #1, 28, 29
  • Captain Marvel Adventures #1-4, 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, 14, 17, 20, 21
  • Bulletman #2,3,9,10
  • Nickel Comics #1, 3, 7
  • Wow Comics #1, 4, 7, 8
  • Eisner and Iger's run in Wags UK weekly

If you own these or know someone who does PLEASE consider scanning them or allowing Rangerhouse scan them for you!  Use the CONTACT US link to get in contact.

Sure, my Top10 is scans from Paper.
Fiche are strictly only good enough for fills in my book.

I'm updating my want list to include the missing pages from Lightning Comics Vol. 2 #6 and Super-Mystery Comics Vol. 3 #4 because I am a newly minted Doctor Nemesis fan.  The final 4 pages of Speed Comics #1 are damaged and I'd like to them in complete form.  I'm also hoping for a better version of Spy Smasher #10 as well since I like that "Why I Did Not Kill Hitler!" story.  And a better version of any Fawcett comic that is fiche.
