srca1941:
Fawcett's Wow Comics #5 is up now!!!

******************************************************************************

January, 1942. This issue features 3 Mr. Scarlet stories, The Hunchback, Rick O'Shay, Jim Dolan, and Atom Blake. This is a coverless copy with the front and back covers from Heritage and the ifc and ibc from fiche.

This particular copy is interesting because of the stamp, "Greetings from Congressman TENEROWICZ," which is found on numerous pages throughout the book. Rudolph G. Tenerowicz (D-Michigan) served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1939-1943, and it's easy to picture one of his children, or the child of one of his staff members, getting bored in his office and playing with the stamp. A fascinating connection to the book's original owner.

Very nice!
Now up.  :)

srca1941:
Here comes another new scan, Prize Comics' Young Romance #49!

******************************************************************************

September, 1952 - Featuring "Witch Girl," "Honeymooners - Not Wanted!," "You'll Wish You'd Never Met Me!," and "Prince Charmin' Himself!"

******************************************************************************

I've also re-uploaded Western Fighters vol.2 no.10 to both reflect the corrected credits and fix the cover thumbnail.

The art on some of these looked so familiar, but other than possibly Bill Draut for "Honeymooners," I have no good guesses as to who drew the stories in this issue. If the book was a year later, I'd be tempted to suggest Ditko had some involvement in "You'll Wish You'd Never Met Me!," but I know it's too early for him. The characters just have "Ditko eyes" to me. I'd really love to know who actually drew it.

Yoc:
Thanks Eric.
Both are now up!

Great to see you around the old place again.
