Question about jpg vs. CBR

(1/2) > >>

hunterguy:
hello...first post been a lurker for awile.  I much prefer the CBR downloads -much easier to see and read.  Why are some books offerede in jpg and some in CBR ?   Anyway to switch jpeg to CBR ?  Thanks all !!

cimmerian32:
CBRs are a collection of jpegs, RAR'ed into a single file.  You extract the jpgs from a cbr using winRAR, or import jpgs to a cbr using same.  Either way, you're downloading jpegs, a cbr just makes it a bit more convenient.

John C:
Which books are sitting around as individual pages?  We probably want to weed those out.

Yoc:
There are the odd single page uploads to be used to fill some missing pages in a existing 'cbr' file.
The suggestion being the reader add them once they've downloaded them.  I can only recall a handful of jpg only uploads.

Ok I think I am missing something - today's (9/20) Lawbreakers Suspense Stories #10 when I go to download it - it does not "save" as a CBR file?  I want the book in CBR. any help?
