Strange how Chesler ended up just reprinting a lot of the Gleason material for Captain Battle 03. Then again, they did that with some of their own titles like Major Victory, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Raboy's artwork stunned this little reader in the 1940s. Of course, I didn't know his name then, but I remember that his work made quite an impression on me. I always set his books aside in my 'do not trade' pile just to look at his pages now & then. His Captain Marvel Jr can still sometimes conjure up the awe I felt then as a kid! Thanks, everyone, for this beauty of a Master Comics file!
