I can't understand how this has gone unmentioned thus far ... so I'll bring it up!
Here's what happened to me today:
I sit down and pull up the latest DCM uploads list ... then ... my eyes bulge in disbelief ... my jaw drops in shock ... I blink to make sure it's not a mirage ... no, they're really there ... not just one, not two, not even three ... but NINE -- count 'em, NINE -- issues of Canada's fabled Triumph Comics, including issue #1!! Added to the #5 we already had here, we now have issues #1 to #10! All featuring the saga of Nelvana of the Nothern Lights!! And all nine posted by one of Canada's and DCM's very own: the venerable Yoc! :(|( However did he do it? (Strange and awesome powers are being wielded here!)
What more can I say except, I lift my glass in thanks, Yoc!

The scanner LaLocas deserves all the credit and I understand there will be more in the future!

Thanks be to both of you, then. The news of more to come is terrific--I've been wanting to get hold of these since I first saw #5 some years ago. Great stuff!

Beating the usual dead horse (disclaimer: No actual animals were harmed in the typing of this paragraph), did we ever figure out the deal with Canadian copyrights? I know the current law is Life+50, which would seem to remove these books from consiideration--Dingle, for example, died in 1974, yes? Do we know these have no copyright protection?
(I really enjoy seeing them, regardless, but...)
