I knew it had been there for a long time, and I was basically doing it for myself because I wanted part of the issue for my own collection. I assumed a single-page, higher-dpi version would be done eventually. I doubt I'll ever do a 2-page-spread edit again.
(and I hope you meant "fait accompli", or as the English say, an "accomplished fact").
I didn't know for sure who scanned it, but I've edited my upload to add the info.

Meanwhile, back at the rescan ranch:
a new upgrade of Young King Cole v1#4 now upped!

Tonight... starting a new series of upgrades and/or fiche-replacements with:
Bobby Benson B-bar-B Riders #5!   (possibly was the Smallest 36(or more)-page comic scan on the site - 4.2Mb!)

Thanks for the upgrade of Bobby Benson #5. Bob Powell art definitely should be scanned at a large size.


I used to listen to the radio show the comic is based on. BTW, it was only in the last few years I learned that Windy Wales was voiced by Don Knotts.

My next upgrade -- Doll Man 41!  (a diff ver, not a rescan). Larger scans of the stories, but the comic was heavily creased.

Starting off Fawcett Fridays with a fiche replacement of Nedor's Exciting Comics #27! (ifc fiche; ibc from FYank #4; hag fc&bc). Only #s 1 & 6 are still all-fiche.

And, to get on to the main topic:
A fiche-replacement for Whiz Comics #14 !!  (but, still 4 fiches: ifc,ibc, and the last page). Front page  magically edited by yoc; fc&bc from HAG.
Plus, an upgraded Master Comics 39, with the 14 fiche-scans replaced by paper from a different copy (but the rest of the pagescans are unchanged, so it's not a diff ver). The fiche ibc is replaced by one from CMJr #7, but the ifc is still fiche.
(I've removed my old upload).

One more Fawcett on the way later today: an issue of Western Hero.

Somebody noticed my Whiz14 had a duped pg33 in place of pg62, and reupped it with a fiche of pg 62 (without changing the file info to '5 fiches'), but it doesn't matter since it's now re-fixed with a paper pg 62.

A couple of minor upgrades:  I used the new BluBolt v5n5 to add the missing pages to my old upload) edited to match), but I need your help to dump my original. Thx!

And... I found a Jungle 93 auction with a complete Simba splash page to replace the half-torn-off one I uploaded exactly 8 years ago yesterday! Sadly, the flip side, Simba pg2, is still half torn-off.
I also replaced all the other splash pages with much better versions, and used the opportunity to rename the file, and add screen shots.
I used my CP this time, so the old version is gone.
