Hi Len,
When you are uploading a re-edit be sure to check both the 'reset date' and 'reset thumbnail' buttons. I believe that should fix the thumbnails. But I've found the Preview should still show the book in the proper order as your new scan.
I just checked the Sgt Spook for this book in Preview and they are in the proper order, no pages missing.
