unable to download

I was able to download books to my harddrive (using bitcomet) back in January, but now I am not.
I'm getting an error beep, and the error message that I am not logged in...but the site says that I am logged in, and that I'm a "VIP" member with a green light (whatever that means).
I was able to use the direct-to-reader download to look at a book, but I couldn't find the download again after I closed it.
I have looked at some of the tutorials, but I don't see what I'm doing wrong. (Salty)

Is a torrent client, we do not use torrents.
We use direct download, basically you use your browser, click on a file....download.
