Clicking A Thumbnail
« on: April 10, 2010, 10:29:17 PM »
I uploaded a thumbnail with my Jungle Jim #11 scan last night, and when I clicked on it to see the cover it squared the cover off instead of maintaining the normal proportions. Can this be fixed fairly easily?

Hi Fett,
I preshrink all my cover thumbs to Xby300 height and I've never had your problem.
Inside the RW it says 'Maximum image width 800' and 'Maximum image height 600'
I checked that thumbnail and that's what's happened - "1280px × 1784px (scaled to 800px × 600px)"
So shrink them down to 600px high before uploading and you should be fine.

The square one is only the pre-view which gets shrunk to the max gallery setting dimensions, click on it again to get the original dimensions, if fairly big you will have to click yet again to view the full sized cover.
