Always glad to see CPT Midnight.


However, the inside front cover seems to be corrupt. On my iMac with the Safari browser the first inch or two is fine. Then only black for the rest of the page. I went thru the first couple of stories seeing no other problems.

new Spirit Section upload: 1946/8/25 (Philadelphia Record). This was reprinted in an IW PLASTIC MAN and it's the first Spirit story I ever read. At the time, it didn't impress me much. How soon was I to know...

That IW Plastic Man reprinted Police #95, IIRC. That was the first Eisner Spirit I read.


I'd mail ordered a Quality issue of The Spirit with all art by Lou Fine. So I was not particularly impressed by this one at the time I found it.


Now, I'm glad to see the story as originally presented.
